Holy Saturday is now upon us. Historically, Jesus has been crucified, but the resurrection has not been witnessed. It is a time of waiting for God’s deliverance. It is a time between faith and doubt. We know the promise, but we also know the reality. It is a time of crisis, despair and anxiety. This is the time when our faith becomes real.

In the COVID-19 pandemic you have been bombarded with overwhelmingly negative, doubting and anxious messages. All of your senses say that we could lose everything and there is no hope.

For your meditation today Isaiah 41:10 comes to mind where the prophets says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Today, you must rest in that truth and then by word of mouth you must share it with your friends while you are sheltered in place. The expression of your faith in the Resurrected Christ is that you actually become involved with others reminding them of the presence, the power and the promises of God.
