It was on that first Good Friday that Jesus was crucified on the cross. There He died for you and me as we remember that God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son that we may have eternal life through Him. Jesus died for me. In this act light conquered darkness and holiness conquered sin.
God tells us to “Stand and contemplate His servant Jesus Christ who will prosper, He will be high and lifted up and greatly exalted.” (Isaiah 52:13)
During this time when we are required to “Shelter in Place” it would honor Christ for us to begin a fast where we come apart from the busy world and contemplate the great love of Christ who died for me.
